Adoption Coaching
Drawing from my personal journey, which includes being adopted as a baby and later relinquishing a daughter for adoption at the age of fifteen, only to reconnect with both my biological family and the daughter I relinquished, I bring a unique perspective to the table.
I'm able to provide valuable insights into the emotions and experiences associated with the adoption journey. Specifically, I offer coaching to adoptees and birth/first parents navigating the complexities of adoption and reunion. I am particularly engaged with adoptive, foster, and kinship parents because my passion lies in the well-being of children above all else.

I’ve felt all of these things–sometimes all at once.
As an adoptee growing up in a house filled with religious repression, trauma, rage, and physical and sexual abuse I couldn’t control what happened to me as a child. I spent years feeling like I was never good enough, wasn’t worthy of love, had no identity–and I made a lot of bad decisions as a result.
But I am more than my trauma. I am more than my pain.
Although they are things that happened to me, they do not define me. And they don’t have to define you either. I’m here to tell you that your past is your greatest gift.
